Jerry Thomas Myers

Mr. Jerry Thomas Myers, 67 of Gainesville died Sunday July 12, 2015 at the Emory University Hopsital.

Born in Salisbury, North Carolina, Mr. Myers was the son of the late W.A. and Lucy Mae Spillman Myers.  He was a former resident of Jefferson before moving to Hall County in 2001.  Mr. Myers was retired from Regions Bank where he was Operations Manager for a number of years. He served in the United States Navy and was a member of the Chestatee Baptist Church. 

Survivors include his wife, Sha Myers, Gainesville; daughter, Malory Myers, Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa amd Josh McKenzie, Charlotte, North Carolina; daughter, Melanie Winkler, Murrells Inlet, South Carolina; daughter and son-in-law, Michele and Ralph Weese, Crockett, Virginia; three grandchildren, Jeremy Hawkins, Taylor Weese and Ashley Winkler, one great grandson, brother, Gary Myers, South Carolina.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday July 15, 2015 at the Chestatee Baptist Church. Rev. David Skinner and Rev. Tony Howard will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery with full military honors.  The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
