Donald Clayton Allison, Sr.,

Donald Clayton Allison, Sr., age 67, died July 11, 2015, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Georgia.

He was born and raised in Gainesville. His two biggest passions were politics and NASCAR racing.

He is survived by his parents, Robert (Rabbit) and Doris Willis, Gainesville, GA; one sister, Deborah Ingram, Gainesville, GA; four children, Donald (Skipper) Allison, Jr., Cindy Schoppert, Virginia (Gia) Tindal, and John (Lorraine) Allison, all of DeLand, Florida; twelve grandchildren, and three great grandchildren; his uncle, Jerry (Ellen) Bennett, Gainesville, GA; his aunt, Johnnie Everett, Flowery Branch, GA; two nephews, and numerous cousins.

Per his wishes, he was cremated, and a memorial service will be held in Gainesville, GA at a later date.
