Funeral services for Mark Isaac Cathey, age 53, of Martin will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 2:00 PM from the Hillside Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow the service in Hillside Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Cathey passed away July 19, 2015 at his residence.
Born in White County, Georgia on December 28, 1961, Mr. Cathey was the son the late Isaac Young and Marie Burnett Cathey. He was a service technician with Lawson Heating and Air and was a member of Madison Baptist Church in Madison, South Carolina.
Survivors include his wife Patricia Sutton Cathey of Martin, daughter Candice Bundrick of Demorest, son and daughter in law Jeremy and Misty Brookshire of Baldwin, sisters Susie Cathey Godshall, Laura Cathey Robinson, Dana Cathey Johnson, Mary Cathey Williams, and Alicia Faye Cathey, grandchildren Waylon, Leena, Audrey, and Isaac, as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 from 6-9 PM.
