Barbara Nichols Carter

    Mrs. Barbara Nichols Carter, age 67 of Winder, GA died July 25, 2015. Mrs. Carter was preceded in death by a daughter Vonda Kay Carter. She was born in Pendergrass, Georgia, December 17, 1947 to the late Thomas Edward “Nic” and Lillian “Gertie” Reynolds Nichols. Mrs. Carter was the retired office manager for Dr. Joe Souther.

   Surviving are her husband Tommy Carter of Winder, Brother and sister-in-law Frank and Sara Nichols, of Pendergrass, Georgia. Niece and Nephew Selina Boerne  and Tony Nichols.

   The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 28, 2015 from 6-8 P. M.  at Carter Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 2:00 P. M. from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home, with Dr. C.B. Skelton officiating.
