Neal Roper

Neal Roper age 85 passed away August 5, 2015 after an extended illness.

He is survived by his wife, Eva Roper and son and daughter in law, Buster and Paula Roper; grandson, Joshua Roper; granddaughter and husband, Amy and Jason Kramnick, granddaughter, Christy Roper; 3 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Neal worked for Hawkins Plumbing Co. for 44 years. He was a master plumber and engineer. He planned and oversaw commercial jobs on schools, churches and shopping centers. He was a member of Chicopee Baptist Church.

After retirement, he managed his rental property until recently. He was a helper and a friend to everyone who knew him and will missed by all.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 9, 2015 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Rev. Philip McQueen will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, August 8, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
