. Jane Banks Hooper

            Mrs. Jane Banks Hooper, age 72, of Ila, GA died Monday, August 3, 2015 at Athens Regional Medical Center.  Mrs. Hooper was born in Commerce to the late Fred Oneal and Emogene Massey Banks, Sr.  She was a member of Erastus Christian Church and was retired from the State of Georgia.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hooper was preceded in death by her husband, Willard R. Hooper.

            Mrs. Hooper is survived by her son, Dr. Robert W. Hooper of Commerce and grandchildren, Annie, Catherine, Georgia Rose and Elijah John Hooper all of Commerce.

            Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Wednesday, August 5 at Erastus Christian Church with Mr. Steve Parker officiating.  Interment will follow in Ila Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday night from 5 to 8 PM.
