Ralph Lewis Grizzle

Ralph Lewis Grizzle, age 65 of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.  

Mr. Grizzle was born on June 14, 1950, in Cumming, GA, to Dan and Lula Gable Grizzle.  He was the owner of Grizzle Trucking and a veteran of the United States Marine Corp having served in Vietnam.  Mr. Grizzle was a member of Nimblewill Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by his father, Dan Grizzle and his sister, Sue Harper.

Survivors include his wife, Bert Grizzle, Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Candice Grizzle, Cleveland; grandchildren, Gannon Grizzle, Grayce Grizzle, and Madison Rice, all of Cleveland; mother, Lula Grizzle, Dahlonega; brother, Robert Grizzle, Dahlonega; sister, Joan Craig, Dahlonega; sisters-in-law, Josephine Sutton, Eloise Sutton, Barbara Blackwell; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, J.L. and Hazel Sutton, Ervin and Charlotte Sutton, Harold and Sherry Sutton; special niece and nephew, Sherry, John, and Madison Haddan; a host of other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for 4 P.M. Sunday, August 16, 2015 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Chris Anderson and the Rev. Gary Heffner will officiate.  Interment will follow at Mt. View Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 P.M. and Saturday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M.
