Ellene Trotter Shook

Funeral services for Ellene Trotter Shook age 89, of Clarkesville will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 2:00 PM from the Hillside Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jerry Vandiver and Rev. Grady Waldon officiating.  Interment will follow the service in Old Nacoochee Baptist Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, August 24, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. 

Mrs. Shook passed away Saturday, August 22, 2015. 

Born in Habersham County on July 29, 1926, Mrs. Shook was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Trotter, Sr. and the the late Mary Mollie Josephine Edwards Trotter.  Mrs. Shook was a homemaker and a member of Old Nacoochee Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Shook is preceded in death by her husband Felton C. Shook, Sr., daughter Marcella Giaquinta, son Felton C. Shook, Jr., and grandson Anthony Giaquinta. 

Survivors include son in law Robert Giaquinta of Clarkesville, daughter in law Opal Shook of Alto, sister Zella Wilson of Sautee, grandsons Mike Giaquinta (Katrina) and Charles Giaquinta (Beth) all of Clarkesville, granddaughter Liane Smith, and great granddaughters Kali Giaquinta and McKenna Giaquinta.
