Mildred Helton

Mildred Helton, 72, of Canon, GA passed away on August 31, 2015.

A native of Hall County, Mrs. Helton was retired from the R-Ranch.

A loving wife, mother and friend, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry Ode and Edith Faye Shope Grizzle. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her stepson, Steve Helton; brother, Clifton Grizzle.

Mrs. Helton is survived by her husband of 32 years, Y.D. Helton; children, Annette Holland, Lisa Standridge, Kellie Jones; step children, Roger Helton, Joyce Stanley, Paula Helton, Russel Helton, Tina Honsa;

grandchildren, Michael Holland, Justin Standridge, Wyndee Standridge, Cody Loggins, Gus Jones; 3 great grandchildren and several step grandchildren as well as other relatives.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2015 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Preacher Rudy Tumlin will officiate. Interment will be in Wahoo Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
