Raymond Johnson, Sr

Mr. Raymond Johnson, Sr., age 62 of Gainesville, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Northside Forsyth Hospital following an extended illness.

            Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Kingdom Hall, Stephens Road, Oakwood.  Brother Jeff Watroba will officiate. 

            Mr. Johnson was born April 17, 1953 in Elberton, Georgia to the late Robert W. Johnson and Willie Sue Hester Johnson.  He was employed with University of North Georgia with the Building Maintenance Department and was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.  Raymond is preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Frances Johnson and Eva Sue Jones and his brother, Robert Willie Johnson.

            Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife of 22 years, Sandra Hall Johnson of Gainesville, his daughters, Bridget S. Dye of Hartwell, Georgia and Ramonia Johnson of Hartwell, Georgia, his son & daughter-in-law, Raymond & Nicole Johnson of Anderson, South Carolina, his step-sons, Anzio T. Hall of Anderson, South Carolina, Danahzio S. (Andrea) Thompson of Columbia, South Carolina and Ormontio M. Thompson of Mariana, Florida, his brother & sister-in-law, Willie James & Mathelma Johnson of Crawford, Georgia and his sisters & brothers-in-law, Magnolia & Thomas Pough of Hoschton, Georgia and Barbara & John Robinson of Augusta, Georgia.
