Virginia Ann Pugh Cook

               Virginia Ann Pugh Cook, 68, of Flowery Branch passed away on Friday, September 4, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Braselton following a sudden illness.

               Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 11, 2015 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Nathaniel Montgomery will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 10, 2015 from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

               Ms. Cook was born on September 11, 1946 in Snellville to the late William Pugh and Ruth Grisson Pugh. She was retired from Comman Ground Coffee Shop and of Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Steven Gunter.

               Ms. Cook is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lori ann and Ken Franpton of Flowery Branch; sons, Tommy Gunter of South Carolina and Jeff Gunter of Kentucky; 7 grandchildren; sisters, Donnice Summersett of Flowery Branch and Mary (Lonnie) Orr of Flowery Branch; brother, Jimmy (Betty) Pugh of Flowery Branch.
