Charles Cleveland Cates Jr

               Charles Cleveland Cates Jr., 60, of Gainesville passed away on Monday, September 7, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness.

               Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 3 p.m.  at Reach Church 751 Hwy 53 East Dawsonville, GA 30534. Pastor John Mason will officiate.

               Mr. Cates was born on May 5, 1955 in Duluth to the late Charles Cleveland Cates Sr. and Ida Lorene Swanson Cates. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bill Cates.

               Mr. Cates is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Deanna and Jimmy Koutras of Loganville; grandchildren, Trey and Morgan; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Bill Tripp of Greenville, South Carolina; sister and brothers, Marie, Robert, Jeanette, Lee and Virginia.
