Donald Lee McClure

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday September 15, 2015 at Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for Donald Lee McClure, Sr. age 79 of Lula. Rev. Anthony Cook, Rev. Matthew Mote and Rev. Shane Turner will officiate. Interment will be in Siloam Baptist Church Cemetery in Dahlonega. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Mr. McClure passed away Friday September 11, 2015.

Mr. McClure was born January 7, 1936 in Gilmer County to the late Mantley A. and Velma A. (Smith) McClure. He was a member of Fisherman's Net Worship Center in Banks County. He was also preceded in death by his son, Donald Lee McClure, Jr.; brothers, Mantley A. McClure, Frank E. McClure and Clifford A. McClure; sisters, Vera J. Hunt and Estelle Reece.

Survivors include wife, Agnes J. McClure, Lula; stepson, Lamar Irving, Texas; daughter, Denise Hazelgreen, Lula; grandchildren, Jason Hazelgreen, Eddie Hazelgreen II, Gillsville; Stephanie D. and Dave Brown, Gainesville, Jana McClure York and Paul York, Flowery Branch; Jeremy D. McClure, Murrayville; Cari Alexis Smith, Lula; great grandchildren, Jake M. Smith, Virginia, Branson W. and Jackson L. Bowen, Flowery Branch; sisters, Gladys M. Gibson, Joyce A. Morgan, Carolyn M. Parker, Bennie L. Tanner and Helen Y. Reece all of Dahlonega and Brenda J. Pittman, Ellijay.
