Glennon Carol Hampton Cherry

Glennon Carol Hampton Cherry, age 74 of Hoschton, GA passed from this earth to her Heavenly home on September 16, 2015 following a long hard battle with cancer.  She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Jim Cherry, Sr.  Sons; Jim Cherry, Jr. (Helen) of Winder, GA; Steve Cherry (Tinia) of Franklin, TN.  Grandchildren; Adam Cherry of Winder, GA, Parker Cherry of Franklin, TN; Elena Cherry of Winder, GA and Hunter Cherry of Franklin, TN.  Sisters; Barbara Jack (Bill) of Crownsville, MD; Faye Hampton of Goodlettsville, TN and Pam Harrell (Roger) of Goodlettsville, TN.  Brother; Don Hampton (Dottie) of Chapmansboro, TN.; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.  The body will be cremated.  A celebration of Glennon’s life will be held at Hamilton Mill Christian Church; 3809 Sardis Church Rd. Buford, GA 30519 on Tuesday, September 22, 2015.  Visitation with the family will be from 12 Noon to 1 PM at the church, with the celebration beginning at 1 PM.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Hamilton Mill Christian Church Building Fund or Hospice of NEGA Medical Center; 2150 Limestone Pkwy, Ste. 222 Gainesville, GA 30501 will be appreciated.
