Linda E. Brown Gordon, age 69 of Commerce passed away Sunday Sept. 20, 2015.
Mrs. Gordon was the daughter of the late Colton and Willie Sue Scoggins Brown and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, James E. Gordon, of the residence; 2 daughters, Lisa (Bobby) Kent, Commerce, Joan (Steve) Shadburn, Gainesville; 3 sisters, Sulene (Palmer) Colquitt, Winterville, Geraldine Seagraves, Danielsville, Christine Burroughs, Hull; a brother, Eugene Brown, Hull; 3 grandchildren, Erick (Tiffany) Kent, Melisa Kent, Dylan Shadburn; and 3 great-grandchildren, Addalyn Kent, Jaxon Kent and Joseph Boucher3.
Services for family and close friends will be 2 pm Tuesday Sept. 22 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Carlton Peters officiating. Burial will follow in the Danielsville Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 1-2 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
