Frances McCarty Allen

Frances McCarty Allen, age 79, of Buford passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2015.  Mrs. Allen was co-founder and member of Hamilton Mill Christian Church of Buford, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Eastern Star, and was a retired nurse.  Survivors include her son William Harold Allen, Jr. and wife Judy of TN; daughters Edna Thornton of Hoschton, Diane Lindsay and husband Lester of Lawrenceville, Jean Walker and husband Tony of Johns Creek, Evelyn Chadwell and husband Andy of Lawrenceville, Erma Allen Denney and husband Randy of Buford; sister Evelyn Mudd and husband Gene of TX; blessed with 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Mrs. Allen is preceded in death by her husband William Harold Allen, Sr.; parents Nathan and Erma McCarty. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Friday, September 25, 2015 at Hamilton Mill Christian Church, 3890 Sardis Church Road, Buford, GA, 30519.
