Deborah Lee Sorrow

Deborah Lee Sorrow, 58, of Gainesville passed away on Friday, October 2, 2015 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

            Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Tony Elrod will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home

            Ms. Sorrow was born on October 8, 1956 to the late George Sorrow and Frances Chandler. Deborah was the owner and operator of Preferred Cleaning Service and also was a defensive driving instructor. She was a dedicated school bus driver for 17 years serving the students at Wauka Mountain Elementary School and North Hall Middle and High School. She was a devoted member of Northside Worship Center. Ms. Sorrow was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Jerry, Dale and Tim Sorrow.

            Ms. Sorrow is survived by her daughters, Christine Silman of Jacksonville, FL and Sarah Danielle Hernandez of Gainesville; son, Jose Hernandez of Gainesville; grandchildren, Clinton Smith, Kelsie Silman, Craig Tostenson, Jayden Hernandez, Jacob Hernandez, Josiah Hernandez, Aryella Beharry and Armoni Hernandez; sister, Ann Hardigree of California; brother,  Frankie Sorrow.
