Bobbie Jean Gilmer

Mrs. Bobbie Jean Gilmer, age 83, of Murrayville passed away Monday, October 05, 2015 at Gold City Convalescent Center following a period of declining health.

A native of Douglasville, Georgia, she had lived a number of years in Doraville before moving to Murrayville in 1981. She was retired from the Centers for Disease Control where she was a secretary and was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Gilmer is survived by her sons; Joe Gilmer, Murrayville, Robert Gilmer, Gainesville and Eddie Gilmer of Florida. Five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and other relatives also survive.

At her request, Mrs. Gilmer was cremated and no services are planned at this time.
