Ettie Carolyn Turner

Ettie Carolyn Turner, 82, of Lula, GA passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2015 in her home.

Mrs. Turner was born on October 17, 1933 in Banks County the daughter of the late H. Dewey and Leila Taylor Standridge. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Doris Smith, and her daughter, Terri Sampson.  Mrs. Turner had a true love for life and was always up for an adventure.  She loved to travel and never met a stranger.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Turner is survived by her husband, Joseph Turner of Lula, her siblings, Joanne Kelley, Ray Standridge and Sandra Elrod (Russell),  her children,  Vicki Kuykendall (Tim), Roxane Hadzimihalis, Anthony Wright, and Becky Smith (Ricky), her grandchildren, Daniel Norton, Melissa Varnadoe (Julie), Kelly Barfield (Brian), Kristy Sampson, Christopher Sampson, Matthew Sampson, Christopher Ahrendt,  Jessica Flippo (Robert), Theodore Hadzimihalis, Steven Smith, and Nicholas Hadzimihalis, and five great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made in the charity of your choice.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at her residence.
