Donnie Roberts Gwaltney

               Donnie Roberts Gwaltney, 89, of Gainesville passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness.

               Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Drewery Loggins will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 16, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

               Mrs. Gwaltney was born on June 20, 1926 in Carnesville, GA to the late Buford Hershel Roberts and Fannie Ruth Wills Roberts. She was retired from Wrigley’s and of Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arnold Gwaltney; son, Nathaniel Rogers.

               Mrs. Gwaltney is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia R. and Ken Beale of Cornelia, Tonda and Bill McCarty of Watkinsville, Valerie and Terry Bennett of Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Arnold F. and Shari Gwaltney of Winston; grandchildren, Neil Tilley, Christy Pass, Serina Pass, Christopher Bennett, Cameron Bennett, Brandon Gwaltney and 2 great grandchildren.
