Mrs. Brenda Louise Roberts, age 68 of Homer died Sunday, October 18, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Roberts was born in Commerce to the late, Tommy and Syble Saxon Martin, Sr. Mrs. Roberts was a beautician. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Roberts was also preceded in death by her son, Greg Roberts.
Mrs. Roberts is survived by her husband, Jimmy Roberts of Homer; son, Shane Roberts (Alisha) of Carnesville; brother, Tommy Martin, Jr of Homer; sisters, Angie Redmon (Bobby) of Commerce, Judy Turpin (John) of Forest Park, and Debbie Brown of Commerce; three grandchildren, Morgan, Maribeth, and Matthew Roberts; a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, Oct. 20 at 2:00 PM from Homer Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Crabbe officiating with the interment following at Banks Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday night from 5-7 PM.
