Dwight Neil Burris

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Dwight Neil Burris, age 71 of Hoschton, Georgia who entered into rest Friday, October 30, 2015.  Mr. Burris was a son of the late James Newell Burris and the late Ruth Sylvia Fisher Burris, was retired from AT & T and was a Cattle Farmer.  In addition to his parents Mr. Burris is preceded by his loving wife, Ellen Sue Rogers Burris.

Survivors include four daughters; Kelley Burris and Shelley Burris of Flowery Branch, Monica Wilbanks of Jefferson, Tena Wheeler of Louisville.  Son; Sonny Burris of Hoschton, sister; Yvonne Johnson of Nashville, Tennessee, brother; Nolan Burris of Owensburg, Kentucky.  Grandchildren; Michael Patterson, Hannah Frankland, Matthew Frix, Hunter Burris, Ashley Wilbanks, Bonnie Wheeler, Leyla Ozcelik, Bora Ozcelik and Hudson Burris.  Great grandchildren; Devin Patterson, Lily Wright, Thomas Franklin and William Franklin.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 2, 2015 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverend David Frix officiating with burial to follow in Evans Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends 1- 5 P.M. Sunday, November 1, 2015 at the funeral home.
