Margie Lola Wofford

Margie Lola Wofford, 92, of Gainesville, GA. passed away on Friday, November 6, 2015.

Born in Shoal Creek District, GA. on May 21, 1923, Mrs. Wofford has lived in Gainesville all of her life. She was the daughter of the late Harvey Jackson and Roxie Ella Sosebee Fields. She was employed with Sears and was of the Christian faith. 

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wofford is preceded in death by her husband, Homer Wofford, and two sons, Frank and Joel A. Wofford.

She is survived by her son Jerry Wofford, a number of nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.  

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Wahoo Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, November 9, 2015 from 6-8 p.m.
