John A. DiGiorgio

John A. DiGiorgio, 76, of Cumming, GA (formerly of Searingtown, NY) died on November 10, 2015.  Born in Long Island City, NY he was the son of the late John and Maria DiGiorgio.  His brother, Alfred also predeceased him.

John was in the restoration business for many years.  He was a proud Rotarian and Past President of the Williston Park Rotary Club.  He was also Past President of the Albertson-Roslyn Heights Republican Club.  He was a member of The Church of the Good Shepherd in Cumming.

John is survived by his beloved wife, Elizabeth DiGiorgio of Cumming, GA; sons, John (Porzia) DiGiorgio of Dix Hills, NY and David (Amy) DiGiorgio of Cumming, GA; daughter, Sandra (Donald) Beresheim of Dix Hills, NY; brother, Alfred sister-in-law, Doris DiGiorgio of Malverne, NY; and much-loved grandchildren, Donny, Johnny, Melissa, Gioianna, Alexandra and Dante.

Funeral mass will be held at St. Matthews Catholic Church in Dix Hills, NY.  Interment will follow at Mount St. Mary Cemetery in Flushing, NY.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org).
