Johnny Ray Ledford Sr.

Johnny Ray Ledford Sr., age 61, of Dahlonega, GA passed away Thursday, November 12, 2015 at his residence.

Johnny lived in Dahlonega for the past 50 years. He worked in the construction industry and was very strong in his Christian faith. He loved his family and grandchildren, loved to read, loved music and enjoyed playing the tambourine.

Johnny was the son of the late Warren Hardin Ledford and Grace Mathis Ledford and was also preceded in death by his brother, Terry Ledford.

Johnny is survived by his son and his fiancé, Johnny Ledford and Brandi Blanchette, Dahlonega, GA; daughter, Kandi Ledford, Dahlonega, GA; former wife and good friend, Laura Ledford, Dahlonega, GA; brothers, Tommy Ledford, Andrews, NC, Warren Ledford, NC, and David Ledford, Gainesville, GA; sisters, Jan Barrett, Dahlonega, GA, Donna Haan, Andrews, NC, Era Mae Ledford, Andrews, NC, and Kathy Nicholson, Andrews, NC; grandchildren, Jonathan, Ezra, and Kayle. Numerous other relatives also survive.

The family will be having a Celebration of Life for Johnny at a later date.
