Dillard Lamar Metcalf

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Dillard Lamar Metcalf, age 70, of Gainesville Georgia, who passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2015. Mr. Metcalf was born in Winder, Georgia son of the late Dillard and Laura Metcalf. Mr. Metcalf attended Bethel Tabernacle Baptist Church in Dahlonega, Georgia, and was a retired carpenter. In addition to his parents, Mr. Metcalf is preceded in death by his wife Ann Loggins Metcalf.

Survivors include his daughter and son in law, Marie and Andy Clark, Murrayville, Georgia, son and daughter in law, Samuel and Kristie Metcalf, Gainesville, Georgia, grandchildren, Jarrett Clark, Hannah Clark, Taylor Metcalf and Chase Metcalf all of Gainesville, Georgia and brother, Leonard Metcalf of Kentucky.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday November 19, 2015 at Bethel Tabernacle Baptist Church in Dahlonega, Georgia, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Bethel Tabernacle Baptist Church Helping Hand Fund P.O. Box 423 Murrayville Georgia 30564 in the honor of Mr. Metcalf.
