William “Bill” Drake

Mr. William "Bill" Drake, age 80, of Danielsville, GA died Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Athens Regional Medical Center. Mr. Drake was born in Danielsville to the late James S. and Ethel Beck Drake. He was a United States Air Force veteran and was retired from Sunbeam Bakery.

Mr. Drake is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Hardy Drake of Danielsville; son Michael Drake (Angela) of Danielsville; sister, Carolyn Mattox of Ila; brother, Kenneth Drake of Danielsville; and grandchildren, Tyler Drake and Amber Drake.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Saturday, December 19 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Dr. Billy Owensby officiating. Interment will follow in Union Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday night from 5 to 8 PM.
