Angel J. Herrera

Angel J. Herrera, age 6, of Gainesville passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2015 following a traffic accident.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 2, 2016 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Flowery Branch with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery.  Bishop Bill Shaw will officiate.  The family will receive friends 12:00 – 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 2, 2016 at the church.

Angel was born June 11, 2009 to Walter Herrera and Geovanna Juarez in Van Nuys, California.  He was a student at Myers Elementary and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Flowery Branch.  A very artistic boy, Angel’s favorite sport was soccer and enjoyed football, painting and helping others.  He was very loving and liked to share his love with others.

Angel is survived by his mother, Geovanna Juarez of Gainesville; father, Walter Herrera of Los Angeles, California; sisters, Susan Juarez, Hailey Herrera and Hazel Herrera all of Gainesville; and several cousins, aunts and uncles.
