Mr. Ronnie Allen Adams, age 78, of Commerce, GA died Friday, January 1, 2016 at Athens Regional Medical Center. Mr. Adams was born in Atlanta to the late Maurice D. and Oneita Hammonds Adams. He was a member of Maysville Baptist Church, a United States Navy Veteran and retired from Leon Farmer and Company as a landscape superintendent.
Mr. Adams is survived by his wife, Ophelia “Peede” Stowe Adams of Commerce; daughter, Lindy Adams Massey of Commerce; brother; Bill Adams of Chestnut Mountain; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 3 at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 1 to 3 PM.
