Mrs. Myrtle Moseley White age 93, of 339 West Savannah Street, Toccoa passed away Sunday January 3, 2016 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
A daughter of the late J.T and Icie Manus Moseley, she was born on September 1, 1922 in Stephens County, Georgia where she lived all of her life. She was retired from Coats and Clark, a devoted mother and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She kept children in her home and later was caretaker for Mrs. Fred L. Hayes. She was preceded in death by her husband Willard White in 1974, a son Ray White in 1963 and a daughter Cathy Casey in 1987.
Survivors include a daughter and son in law Joyce and Bill Davis of Toccoa, two sons and daughters in law Jerry and Karen White of Toccoa and Larry and Susan White of Panama City, Florida, two grandchildren Matt White, Scott and Amanda White and two great grandchildren Parker and Palmer White, sisters-in-law Mildred Moseley of Toccoa, Myrtis White of Anderson and Margaret White of Athens.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday January 5, 2016 at 2 P.M. at the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend Michael Staley officiating with burial to follow in Stephens Memorial Gardens. The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Monday from 6 P.M. til 8 P.M.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers Matt White, Scott White, Jack Barnard, Danny White, Lamar Hare and Michael Simmons.
