Karen Ann Ray, age 56 of Dacula, GA died suddenly Friday, January 1, 2016. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church in Dacula. Pastor Jason Mincey will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. The family request in lieu of flowers contributions be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at www.lls.org.  Karen is survived by her Son, Scott Stancill, Duluth, GA. Parents, Ernest and Virginia Schumacher, NC. Sister, Ruth Hunt and husband, Kenneth, NC. Cousin, Heidi Marshall, PA. Karen was born in Charleston, SC and had lived in the Atlanta area the past 25 years. She was employed as an Underwriter Manager with Risk Placement Services and was a member of Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church.
