Roy Bryant Denton

Mr. Roy Bryant Denton, age 74, of Gainesville, GA died Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.  Mr. Denton was born in Homer to the late Buford and Floyce Drake Denton.  He was a member of Blackshear Place Baptist Church and owned a service station.

Mr. Denton is survived by his daughters, Kay Denton and Kim McKie both of Commerce; sons, Kevin Denton of Homer and Keith Denton of Jefferson; sisters, Barbara Steed of Dacula and Brenda Denton of Homer; brothers, Paul Denton of Marietta, Tommy Denton and Jerry Denton both of Homer; and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 3 PM, Sunday, January 10 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Smith and Rev. Bethe Kellum officiating.  Interment will follow in Howington Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday night from 5 to 8 PM.
