Beverly Yvonne Henderson

Ms. Beverly Yvonne (Martin) Henderson was born August 24, 1955 to the late Leonard Cantrell and Mary (Martin) Bryson in Gainesville, GA.  She departed this life Monday, January 11, 2016 due to an extended illness.  She was a rare jewel that touched many people’s lives.  Beverly was a loving mother known as Momma, Grand, Nanny, Great Grand and Queen B.  She was everyone’s Auntie as well.  She graduated from Gainesville High School and attended Piedmont College.  Beverly was a member of Antioch Baptist Church where she served the youth department and the Silver Saints Ministry.  She loved her family and serving others.  Her favorite things to do were to talk on the phone and Facebook.  She really enjoyed gathering her family together and cooking pound cakes. 

She leaves in loving memory three daughters: Erica (Jimmie) Jackson of Gainesville,  Aundrea Nicole Henderson of Athens, Brittany Henderson of Fort Valley; her mother Mary Martin Bryson of Atlanta, sister: Debra Martin of Atlanta; eight grandchildren: Brandon (Maria) Young of Lawrenceville, Krystaline Williams of Gainesville, Joshua Jackson of Phoenix, AZ, Caleb Jackson of Gainesville, Audrianna Jackson of Gainesville, Zeriah Cobb of Athens, Tyler Cobb of Athens, and Paul Williams III of Athens; nine great-grand’s: Brandi Young of South Carolina, Zakhia Clark of Gainesville, Jasmine Young of Gainesville, Andrew Jackson of Gainesville, Jeremias Young of Gainesville, Roger Lee III of Gainesville, Jamari Young of Gainesville, Alyce Cheeks of Gainesville and Prince Jackson of Phoenix, AZ; one Aunt: Hattie Mae Goss of Gainesville;  Special friends: Suzzette Watson of Gainesville, Charlie Saboor of Gainesville, and Crystal Johnson of Gainesville and a abundance of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. 

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Antioch Baptist Church, Gainesville, GA at 11 AM.  Visitation will be held on Friday, January 15, 2016 from 7 PM- 8 PM at Wimberly & Jackson Funeral Home.  Professional Services Entrusted to Wimberly & Jackson Funeral Home.
