Sandra Faye Edwards Morris

Mrs. Sandra Faye Edwards Morris, age 72 of Toccoa, Georgia passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at the Stephens County Hospital.

She was born September 3, 1943 in Metter, Georgia having lived most of her life in Savannah, Georgia and the last 30 years in the Toccoa and Carnesville areas.   She was a homemaker and worked at the Chevron Station on Highway 145 for several years.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. 

Survivors include her husband, M.F. Morris of Toccoa; two daughters and son-in-law, Bree and Rob Harding and Stacey Mitchell Nease both of Toccoa; three sons and daughter-in-law, Bret and Stefanie Morris of Commerce, Georgia and Landy Mitchell and John Durkee both of Clermont, Florida; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; step-mother, Kitty Plyler of Claxton, Georgia; four sisters, Patsy, Patricia, Paula and Kathy and brother Ken all of Claxton, Georgia.

Memorial services will be Saturday, January 16, 2016, 2 O’clock PM at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 190 Mt. Olive Church Road, Commerce, Georgia with The Reverend Jamie Dove officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 3783 Presidential Parkway, Suite 102, Atlanta, Georgia 30340 in memory or Mrs. Sandra Faye Edwards Morris.
