Margarete Louise May

Margarete Louise May, 86, of Cumming, GA died on January 14, 2016. Born in Paducah, KY on March 21st, 1929 she was the daughter of the late William and Alma Yates. Her beloved husband, Leslie Alfred May also predeceased her.

With her beauty, style, grace and a loving heart, this is not goodbye, but only until we see you again. Your laughter and your love will always be seen in your children, grandchildren and all the endless lives who you've touched. Margarete was a loving sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived her children, Michele Gipson, Allen May and Marcie May; grandchildren, Stacy Gipson, Margaret Von Zerhusen and Jessie May; great-grandchildren, Sophia Zerhusen and Alison Zerhusen; brothers, Mickey Yates and Henry Yates; and sister, Susie Yates.

A celebration of Margarete’s life will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm in the reception hall of McDonald and Son Funeral Home.
