Frances Madgelene Finley Hart

Mrs. Frances Madgelene Finley Hart, age 90 of Toccoa passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at the Stephens County Hospital.

A daughter of the late Seaborn and Maybelle Finley, she was born March 1, 1925 in Sandy Springs, South Carolina having lived most of her life in Anderson, South Carolina and the rest in Habersham County.  She was retired from the Habersham County School System and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Hart in 1996 and by a son, Phil Hart in 2011.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Cynthia and Matt Jarvis of Hendersonville, North Carolina and Cheryl Sherrill of Statesville, North Carolina; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two brothers and sister-in-law, Clemeth and Orene Finley of Toccoa and Harold Finley of Westminster, South Carolina; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Aundria and Bill Evans of Toccoa and Evelyn and Harold Bost of Fayetteville, Georgia.

Funeral services will be Thursday, January 21, 2016, 2 O’clock PM in the Hillcrest Chapel of Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend David Harbin and The Reverend Bill Evans officiating.

The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Thursday from noon until the service time.

Entombment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Mausoleum with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Frances Madgelene Finley Hart.
