Frank Dunn age 72 of Rabun Gap, Georgia passed away January 30, 2016 at Mountain Lakes Medical Center. He was born September 1, 1943 the son of the late Andrew and Mandy Louise Dunn, and is preceded in death by his sister Anne Dunn.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years Linda Dunn of the home, son Randall Dunn of Jacksonville, Florida, daughter and son in law Melissa and Bill Howell of Snellville, Georgia and five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Frank and his wife Linda moved from Jacksonville, Florida to Rabun Gap, Georgia in November of 2005. He served his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War and was a member of Battle Branch Baptist Church. While living in Jacksonville Frank worked in electrical inspector for the city Jacksonville; He was known as an master electrician and was a member of the Blue Lodge 159 of Jacksonville. He is a member of IBEW local 177, and worked for Rabun County Christian Food Ministery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM funeral services 2:00 PM at Battle Branch Baptist Church on Tuesday February 2, 2016. Interment will follow in the Battle Branch Cemetery in Clayton, Georgia.
