Margaret Elizabeth Cleveland

            Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Cleveland, age 74 of Braselton, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2016 at her residence following an extended illness.

            Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.  Reverend Perry Smith will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 from 4 - 8 pm at the funeral home.

            Mrs. Cleveland was born September 19, 1941 in Cornelia, Georgia to the late Johnnie Jackwell Stewart and Carriene “Carrie” Shirley Stewart.  She was retired from Stouffer’s Pine Isle as a Chef and was of the Methodist Faith.  Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Margie Elaine Cleveland, her sisters, Dorothy Arnold and Carolyn Stancil and her brothers, Calvin Stewart and John Dover Stewart.

            Mrs. Cleveland is survived by her husband, Lamar Cleveland of Braselton, her children, Carrie & David Propes of Talmo, Johnny Cleveland of Braselton and Karen & Bradley Parson of Gillsville, 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, sister, Sue Barreras of Albemarle, North Caroline, niece & her husband, Shirley & Royce Smith of Gainesville and a number of nieces and nephews.
