Tinnie Mae Johnson Landing

Obituary Date: Thursday, February 11, 2016

            Mrs. Tinnie Mae Johnson Landing, age 70 of Winder, passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at her residence following an extended illness.

            Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 3:30 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Bishop Mark White will officiate.   The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 13, 2016 from 2:30 - 3:30 pm, prior to the service, at the funeral home.

            Mrs. Landing was born September 26, 1945 in Monroe, Georgia to the late James Oscar Johnson and Nettie Estelle Morrell Johnson. She was a homemaker and a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Yargo Ward.  Tinnie was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Robert Oscar Johnson and her sister, Betty Ann Bragg.

            Mrs. Landing is survived by her husband, James Edward Landing. Sr. of Winder, her son, James Edward Landing, Jr. of Winder, her daughter & son-in-law, Alicia Dawn & David Horne of Columbus, Georgia, daughter, Angela Susan Owens of Winder, 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, brothers, Ricky Morgan & Ronnie Morgan, sisters, Maggie Geiger and Brenda Coffia and a number of nieces and nephews.
