Ray Preston Garner

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Skitts Mountain Baptist Church 9361 Skitts Mountain Drive Lula, GA 30554 for Ray Preston Garner age 74 of Braselton. The Rev. Kyle Savage and Rev. Shane Caylor will officiate. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Garner passed away Sunday February 14, 2016.

Mr. Garner was born in Hall County to late J C Garner and Addie Smith Garner. He had worked as a brick mason and was a member of Skitts Mountain Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his brother Hewey Garner.

Survivors include wife, Mary Garner, Braselton, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Crystal and Dusty Kennedy, Skitts Mountain, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Joey and Tracy Garner, Winder, GA; son, Mike Pruitt, Pendergrass, GA; grandson, Robert Chance Stroud, Ft. Stewart, GA; granddaughter, Chelsi Garner, Phoenix City, AL; grandson, Mason Garner, Winder, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and David Caylor, Braselton, GA; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
