Bernard Suttler Roberts, age 49, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Monday, February 15, 2016 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 pm Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Dr. Mike Freeman will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 pm prior to the service on Saturday.
Bernard was born November 4, 1966 in Dublin, Georgia. He was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Gainesville. He was a 1985 graduate of Gainesville High School. Bernard also graduated in 1992 from North Georgia College. He was owner and president of Roberts Poultry Brokers in Gainesville and for the past 6 years he was a broker for E & S Marketing. He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Roberts.
Bernard is survived by his daughter, Ally Roberts; son, Bernard S. (Bo) Roberts both of Gainesville; mother, Jackie (McDonald) Roberts of Gainesville; brothers, Michael Roberts and John McDonald Roberts both of Gainesville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Libby and Sandy Jackson of Clermont; and Sally and Greg Williams of Gainesville and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the Good News at Noon P.O. Box 1577 Gainesville, GA 30503.
