Darryl Eugene Clemons

Mr. Darryl Eugene Clemons, age 67, of Taylors, South Carolina, formerly of Lawrenceville, Georgia, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville, South Carolina, surrounded by his family and friends.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 29, 2016 in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with interment in Memorial Park South Cemetery.  Rev. Scott Wilson will officiate.  The family will receive friends 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Sunday, February 28, 2016 and 12:00 – 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 28, 2016 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mr. Clemons was born December 1, 1948 to the late Estral “Red” & Dorothy Clemons in Knoxville, Tennessee.  He was of the Baptist Faith and had worked for Bob Jones University in Telecommunications.  Mr. Clemons was also preceded in death by his daughter, Diane Clemons.

Mr. Clemons is survived by his wife Patsy Clemons of Taylors, South Carolina; daughter, Sarah Freeman of Gainesville; son & daughter-in-law, David Clemons & Sara Osburn of Winder; 4 grandchildren, Logan, Hailey, Natalie & Jaxson; brothers & sisters-in-law, Jay & Mary Ann Campbell of Marietta, George & Nikki Clemons of Snellville and E.T. “Lucky” Clemons & Winsome Croker of Heflin, Alabama; sister& brother-in-law, Sallie & Thomas Park of Lilburn; sister, Nancy Lawson of Powder Springs; and several nieces & nephews.
