Bonnie O. Martin age 87 of Buford, GA died Friday, March 4, 2016.  Funeral Service will be held Monday, March 7, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Jones Brewer and Rev. Allen Taylor will officiate. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 6, 2016 from 2-8 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made to the American Lung Association at www.lung.org , the American Heart Association at www.heart.org or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation at jdrf.org/info/jdrf  Bonnie was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Laura Beard Martin. Infant son, James Forrest Martin. Parents, Bonnie Forrest “Jack” Martin and Vera Gunter Martin. Brothers, Kenneth E. Martin, Sr. and Bradford L. Martin, Sr. He is survived by his Daughter and Son In-law, Jackie M. and Bill Hutchins, Buford. Grandchildren, Jeffery Hutchins, Jason and Brandy Frix Hutchins, Jinger and Allen Register. Great Grandchildren, Zachary, Cameron, Spencer, Jessilyn, Brett, Blake, Alicia and A.J. Special friend, Lanie P. Curry. Sisters In-law, Patricia B. Adams and Patricia H. Martin. Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Bonnie was a lifelong resident of Buford. He was a retired builder and a member of Prospect United Methodist Church in Lawrenceville, GA.
