Opal Roberts Bowles

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Opal Roberts Bowles, age 76, of Pendergrass Georgia, who entered into rest Friday, March 18, 2016.  Mrs. Bowles was born in Norcross, Georgia a daughter of the late Harvey Wilson Roberts I and the late Edna Williams Roberts, was of the Baptist Faith and was a homemaker.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bowles is preceded by two brothers; James and Dewey Roberts.

Survivors include her husband, Lewis Bowles of Pendergrass, daughter; Sylvia Brown of Pendergrass, three sons; Lewis Bowles Jr. of Bremen, Calvin Bowles of Pendergrass, and Milton Bowles of Jefferson.  Four sisters; Betty Lou Turner of Conyers, Evelyn Ransom of Auburn, Sharon Bailey of Winder, and Allene Strong of Auburn, Alabama.  Two brothers; Larry Roberts of Norcross and Harvey Roberts, Jr. of Flowery Branch.  Ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, March 21, 2016 from Barrow Memorial Gardens with Reverend Tony Bailey officiating.  Gentlemen honored as pallbearers are Brian, Eric, Sam, Wayne and Steven Bowles and Adam Brown.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home 10:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Monday, March 21, 2016.
