Bernard Lee Bowen

Bernard Lee Bowen, age 85, of Buford, GA passed away on Friday, March 18, 2016. He was preceded in death by a grandchild, J. R. Adkins. He is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, Janice R. Wyatt Bowen, Buford, GA; children, Vickie Lee Corns, Ona, WV, Berna Farley, Lawrenceville, GA and Sandra Lynn Beckner, Buford, GA; grandchildren, Misty D. Corns, Randall L. Farley, Bradford W. Farley, Amber N. Kincaid and Candice L. Beckner; great grandchildren, Ashlyn R. Eller, Jadyn D. Eller, Tesla Corns, Jenna Dillman, Nathan Farley, Terry Dillman, Josh Adkins and Jonathan Adkins; sisters, Doris Bowen, Betty Ashbury and Erma Hazlett; brother, Kenny Bowen; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Bowen was born April 22, 1930 in Huntington, WV. He was a retired auto mechanic. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming and gardening. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, March 26, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
