Florence Weber Brookshire

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Florence Weber Brookshire, age 94 of Commerce, Georgia who entered into rest Monday, March 28, 2016.  Mrs. Brookshire was born in Mulaka Hills, New Jersey, a daughter of the late Charles and Bertha Weisbrough Weber, was a homemaker and a member of Living Word Worship Center.  In addition to her parents Mrs. Brookshire is preceded by her husband Leroy Brookshire and all of her brothers and sisters.

Survivors include four sons; Dennis Brookshire and his wife Cindy of Commerce, Allen “Tonto” Brookshire and his wife Margaret of Jefferson, Johnny Brookshire of Jefferson, Eddie Brookshire of Commerce.  Three daughters; Susan Brookshire of Commerce, Lisa Brookshire and Bobby Wood of Commerce, and Devon Brookshire of Commerce.  Ten grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, April 1, 2016 form the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Wayne Norris officiating with burial to follow in Jackson Memorial Gardens, Commerce, Georgia.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Thursday, March 31, 2016, 6 – 8 P.M..
