Carolyn Jones

Ms. Carolyn Jones age 55 of Gainesville passed away on Monday March 28, 2016 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Memorial services are scheduled for Thursday March 31, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive friends on Wednesday March 30, 2016 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ms. Jones was born on March 30, 1960 in Albany, Georgia to the late Samuel Edward Jones and Lavada Harrison Jones. She was retired from the IRS and was of the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her father.

She Is survived by her mother, Lavada H. Jones of Gainesville, sister and brother-in-law, Delaine and Doug Martin of Brunswick, sister, Janet Cheek of Gainesville, brother and sister-in-law, Phil E. and Cheryl Jones of Gainesville, niece and family Lindy Helms and Steve, Leigh and Macy of Brunswick, niece and family, Brandy Browning and Creed of Gainesville, nephew and family, Ryan and Donna Martin, Holly and Lucy of Athens, nephew and family, Jamison Cheek, Cyndil, Calin and Christian of Gainesville, and nephew, Tyler Jones of Gainesville.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA 30504 is in charge of arrangements.
