Mrs. Annie Lee Sutton Cathey,age 94 of Gainesville. Mrs. Cathey passed away Thursday, March 31, 2016. Graveside services are scheduled for 12:00 pm, Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Gateway Memory Park with Rev. Levi Skipper officiating.Mrs Cathey was born on March 27, 1922 in Sautee Nacoochee to the late Frank Lee Sutton and Ora Tatum Sutton. She had lived most of her life in Hall County worked for a number of years with Guilford Mills and assisted her husband in his tractor dealership. Mrs Cathey was a longtime member of Concord Baptist Church is in preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Horace Cathey,her son, James Richey Cathey; sister, Trudy Burke as well as her brothers, Arthur Sutton and Eddie Sutton.
Survivors include her daughters, Carolyn Cathey of Gainesville and Pat Carney (Doyle) also of Gainesville; grandchildren, Michael and Matt Carney; great grandchildren, Isaac, Bryson and Paisley Carney.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 10:00am. Flowers will be acknowledged, however it is requested that memorial donations be made to Concord Baptist Church, P.O.
