Freida Hodges Sikes

Mrs. Freida Hodges Sikes, age 92 of Lula died Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Southern Pines Assisted Living.  Mrs. Sikes was born in Statesboro to the late, Frank and Maggie Grimes Hodges.  Mrs. Sikes was a homemaker.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sikes was also preceded in death by her husband, Earl Remshart Sikes.

            Mrs. Sikes is survived by her son, Al Sikes of Lula; daughter, Frances Dixon of Lula; brother, Dewitt Hodges of Jacksonville, FL; and two grandchildren.

            The burial will be held Thursday at Paran Baptist Church Cemetery, Grandin, FL.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday night from 6-8 PM.

            Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce is in charge of arrangements.
