Mrs. Sandra Kay Afroozi, age 67, of Talmo passed away Saturday, April 9, 2016 at her home following an extended illness.
Funeral Mass will be held 2:00p.m., Wednesday April 13, 2016 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery. Father Luis Alvarez will officiate.
Mrs. Afroozi was born December 20, 1948 to W.R. Crawford and the late June S. Womble in Jacksonville, Florida. She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, participating in the Stephen’s Ministry and a Eucharist Minister.
Mrs. Afroozi is survived by her husband of 48 years, Keyhan Afroozi of Talmo; sons, Kayvon Afroozi of Talmo and Mark Afroozi of Winston Salem, North Carolina; 4 grandchildren, Joshua, Brandon, Layla and Colin; brother & sister-in-law, Vince & Michelle Womble of Jacksonville, Florida; sisters & brothers-in-law, April & Charles Crabtree of Jacksonville, Florida and Cindy & Bill Jackson of Jesup, Georgia; and several nieces & nephews.
